On Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and 25, the Carnaval San Francisco Festival will offer food, music, dance, art, crafts and other fun activities and events on several stages for the entire family to enjoy. Spanning seven blocks, the Carnaval San Francisco Festival will take place on Harrison Street between 16th and 23rd streets (10 a.m.-6 p.m.).
On Sunday, May 25, the Carnaval Grand Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of 24th and Bryant streets, where it will proceed west to Mission Street. From there, the parade heads north on Mission down to 17th Street, where it will turn east and flow into the festival area.
Conceived 30 years ago by a group of local musicians, artists and residents eager to bring the spirit of Latin American and Caribbean culture to San Francisco, Carnaval San Francisco is produced by the Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc. and is supported by San Francisco's Grants for the Arts. Since 1959, the Mission Neighborhood Centers has provided quality programs that promote self-sufficiency and community growth for the Mission District's children, youth, families and seniors.

The America SCORES
America SCORES develops programs that use the world's most popular sport, soccer, to energize and inspire public school students. All of our programs require that our children use the teamwork they learn on the soccer field to support each other as poets and authors in the classroom. The combination is unique and it works. Every day, SCORES programs are creating a bond between thousands of our students and their classmates, their teachers, their schools and their communities!
We start by identifying, hiring and training public school teachers to take on the meaningful role of soccer and writing coaches. We then recruit separate teams of girls and boys. We work with the schools, community partners and parks departments to identify, renovate and reoccupy nearby urban fields. We provide soccer activities, writing workshops and game days on alternating afternoons every week of the fall and spring seasons. And then we watch our kids become stars on and off the field through tournaments, poetry slams, community service projects and publications that attract thousands of community members and volunteers.

Soccer Silicon Valley is a grassroots organization consisting of soccer fans, soccer players, business leaders, and political leaders with a goal of creating a permanent home for professional and recreational soccer in the Bay Area. A business trade association, we will advocate for the development and construction of a soccer facility which will permanently house the San Jose Earthquakes, the Bay Area’s only professional soccer team, and provide playing fields for the use of the entire soccer playing community in the Bay Area.

Pure Potential was developed by a passionate soccer player, Abe Torres. Abe has been involved in youth soccer for 30+ years and has coached for 15 of those years. He holds a FIFA International C license and continues to play at the competitive level. Abe has spent his life with the desire to improve the level of learning for youth soccer players. In 2004 after a long day of training, he came up with the idea of creating a visual aide for players to develop their game. The Pure Potential Training Ball (PPT-Ball) is the result of Abe’s idea and provides a functional, effective and user-friendly tool for any age of player.
The Pure Potential Balls help players develop accuracy and consistency in soccer fundamentals. Visual targets for learning, help players develop better body balance, ball approach and connection for correct ball direction.

Kidoideira Brazilian Productions is exclusively dedicated to Brazilian events in the Bay Area. Located in San Francisco, California, we have twenty five years of experience in the field of event promotions. This pioneer effort with local Brazilian musicians, creating bands, and promoting memorable shows such as: O Rappa, Grupo Revelacao, Marcelo D2 & Planet Hamp, Harmonia do Samba, Molejo, Banda Mel, Gian & Giovani, and many more. CSAN is comprised of 30 amateur leagues playing in Northern California. CSAN's area of responsibility goes from the area just north of Bakersfield to the Oregon border. Among these leagues are men's competitive and recreational leagues, women's competitive and recreational leagues, and co-ed leagues.
CSAN is administered by an Executive Board which is elected by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is composed of the representatives of the various affiliated leagues. The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the policy for the Association. The Executive Board is responsible for carrying out the policies set by the Board of Directors and for the daily operation of the Association.
The California Soccer Association-North is affiliated with the United States Amateur Soccer Association (USASA, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), the Football Confederation (CONCACAF) and the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
